From the Nonantum resort: Shuttles transportation will be provided beginning 6:15pm. It will continue to make round trips approximately 1-2x/hour throughout the evening, with service ending at 10:30pm.

From the Kennebunk Inn: there will be 1 ride at approximately 6:45pm.

Return trips: You can request any location within the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area.

Saturday 7/6: to/from after party (Garden Street Bowl)

Shuttles will be provided to the after party beginning 10:30pm, and will make multiple trips back to the Nonantum Resort until 1am. On leaving the after party, you may request any destination within the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area.

via Portland, Maine

The Portland airport (PWM) is about a 35-minute drive to the wedding venue in Kennebunkport. It is a smaller airport than Boston with very limited international flights, but has connections available through most of the east coast hubs.

Public transportation does exist in Maine, but it is sparse. A rental car will be the easiest way to travel for the wedding.

There will be Ubers and other ride-sharing apps that pick up at the airport. These would probably be around $60 one-way to the wedding venue, but are subject to surge pricing during busy times.

via Boston

Kennebunkport is about a 1.5 hour drive from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

The Fourth of July weekend is the best time to be in Maine. Unfortunately, the holiday weekend comes with increased traffic. Please anticipate a considerable increase for these times. Plan for another hour driving if driving north during the afternoon on either Thursday or Friday. Plan for another hour if driving south to Boston on Sunday and leaving anytime after 10AM.

There is an Amtrak train from Boston-North Station (BON)  the Wells, Maine (WEM). The Wells train station is a 15-minute drive to the wedding venue.

C&J Trailways operates a coach bus that runs every half hour from Boston-Logan to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Portsmouth is 30 miles to the wedding venue.

From NYC / Tri-State Area

If you're coming from the Tri-State Area and have access to a car, we would recommend the 4-5 hour drive to Kennebunkport. Try to leave during off-peak hours as the holiday traffic will be difficult.

If you're deciding between flying into Portland or Boston, we would recommend flying into Portland. Flights leave regularly from EWR, JFK, and LGA.

Alternatively, there is a bus operated by C&J Trailways leaving from Port Authority in Manhattan that goes to Portsmouth, NH. As far as coach buses go, it is on the nicer side  (it has WiFi and some of Jess's favorite snacks). This route won't get you all the way to the wedding, but could be a helpful if you're planning to meet up or carpool with anybody.

Transportation - Ubers, Taxis, Parking

Ubers and Taxis will be available to take from the airports to Kennebunkport. However, they are sparse once in Kennebunkport and cannot be relied upon.

Should you drive yourself, there is ample parking available at the wedding venue.

To ensure safe driving during our wedding weekend, there will be a shuttle back to hotels listed on the website on Friday and Saturday night.

We have made lots of trip between NYC and Kennebunkport. If you have any questions or want more advice, we're happy to help.
